Tales from the Land of the Dragons

The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston has collected Chinese old master paintings for over 100 years, and through this tradition has amassed a collection that is unsurpassed among American museums. The MFA exhibition, Tales from the Land of Dragons: 1, 000 Years of Chinese Painting, will draw exclusively from this preeminent collection to bring together, for the first time, more than 150 exquisite works of art that date from the fourth through the fourteenth centuries. Many of these extremely rare and fragile works have never been displayed in public before.
